1. Who we are

Tenantie ("we", "us") operates the Tenantie property maintenance tracking service at tenantie.com. For privacy questions, contact us at hello@tenantie.com.

2. What data we collect

Landlord accounts:

Name and email address (at signup)
Property details you enter (address, suburb, postcode)
Subscription and billing info (processed by Stripe — we store only your Stripe customer ID)
Preferred currency setting

Tenant-submitted data:

Name, email, and phone number (as provided by the tenant)
Maintenance request details and uploaded photos

Usage data: We may collect basic analytics (page views, feature usage) to improve the product. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

3. How we use your data

To provide the Service (store requests, send email notifications)
To process subscription payments via Stripe
To send transactional emails (request alerts, status updates, rent reminders) via Brevo
To improve the product based on usage patterns

We will never sell your data or use it for advertising.

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security — meaning database rules enforce that you can only access your own data. Photos are stored in Supabase Storage with private access controls. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit (HTTPS/TLS).

5. Third-party services

Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage. Privacy policy

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

Access your data — email us and we'll provide a full export
Correct your data — update via Account settings or email us
Delete your data — use the "Delete my account" option in Account settings, or email us
Port your data — Pro users can export expenses as CSV; email us for a full export

7. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all your data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication (managed by Supabase). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children

The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
