How does the tenant portal work?

When you add a property, Tenantie generates a unique link for that property. Share it with your tenant via text, email, or WhatsApp. They open it in any browser — no account or app needed — fill in the issue with photos, and submit. You get an instant email alert.

Do tenants need to create an account?

No. The tenant portal is completely frictionless — just a link. Tenants describe the issue, attach photos, and hit submit. No sign-up, no password, no app download.

What's included in the free plan?

1 property, unlimited maintenance requests, photo uploads, full request history, email notifications, and status updates.

What does Pro include?

Up to 5 properties, AI auto-tagging and cost estimates, expense logging with CSV export for tax time, rent reminders to tenants, and priority support. $19 USD/month with a 14-day free trial.

How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

Go to Account → Manage subscription & invoices. This opens the Stripe billing portal where you can cancel, update your payment method, or download invoices. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL with row-level security), meaning you can only ever access your own data. Photos are stored in private Supabase Storage. We never share or sell your data.

Can I export my data?

Pro users can export all logged expenses as a CSV (useful for tax time). If you need a full data export for any reason, email hello@tenantie.com and we'll sort it out.

What currencies are supported?

You can set your preferred currency (USD, AUD, GBP, CAD, NZD) in Account settings. Stripe billing is in USD.
